Charlene Wee, Founder

Yoga has given Charlene a new perspective in life which contains less stress and more joy; she wants to share this with her clients and students.

Having worked at a large corporation before becoming a yoga instructor, Charlene understands first-hand what work stress is like, and its effects on life.  After she quit her corporate job, she decided to bring yoga to where people needed it the most: at their workplace and organization. Charlene wants to improve work life balance, and provide students and clients a way to manage stress and to enjoy life.

Her friendly and informative classes focus on proper alignment of yoga poses to encourage students of all levels to practice safely and receive the full benefits from yoga.  She promotes awareness in body and mind, and believes that everyone has the power to lead a balanced and happy life.

Charlene has been practicing yoga since 2004, and teaching alignment-based yoga since 2007.  She has studied extensively under Aadil Palkhivala and Savitri, and is a graduate of the 2000-hour and 500-hour teacher training programs from Purna Yoga College.  Charlene has completed Yoga Works' 200-hour teacher training, and had studied with Erich Schiffmann, Judith Lasater, and Donna Farhi.  She also practices meditation at Seattle Insight Meditation Society.

She has coached dragon boat paddling since 2000, and has worked with a wide range of ages, body types, and abilities, including cancer survivors.
