This class combines the focus of proper body alignment for safe yoga, and Charlene's years of paddling coaching experience. During class, Charlene explains the benefits of different yoga poses in relation to paddling, carefully opening muscles that are tight from repetitive paddling movements, while building strength in others for peak paddling performance.
Aside from keeping the bodies in tip-top shape, this class will touch on breath work and meditation to help with focus during races. Even if you are practicing an alternate form of yoga, it is highly beneficial to attend this alignment-based class to supplement your other classes.
Everyone can benefit from taking this class to build a healthier body and a calmer mind.

Restorative Yoga and Meditation
It is the end of the month. Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you feel stressed? Come join us for a monthly Restorative Yoga and Meditation session to unwind! You will leave the session feeling serene and rejuvenated.
In the first part of class, students practice yoga poses supported with different props. These are designed to allow the body to create space slowly, and to calm the nervous system for deep and complete relaxation.
The class then transitions into a guided meditation, which provides many benefits such as reduced anxiety, improved mood, increased mental strength and focus, and enhanced energy level.
No prior yoga experience necessary!
Due to Thanksgiving, November class is held on November 16, 2017 Classes occur on the last Thursday of every month, 6:30pm~8:15pm Bellevue, WA
