In this workshop, you will learn how to practice Downward Facing Dog with proper alignment to reap all the benefits from this pose, and prevent repetitive injuries. Don’t worry – we won’t be doing Downward Facing Dog for 2 hours! There will be a short lecture, and proper warm up and cool down yoga. Whether you have been practicing yoga for a while but are not sure if you have the correct alignment, or you just want to learn the nitty gritty details to stay safe in yoga class, this workshop will help you improve your Downward Facing Dog!
Dress comfortably so you can stretch, and bring your own mat. Feel free to bring notebook to take notes if you wish. No prior yoga experience necessary.
Backbends are amazing poses that can lift your mood and reverse the aging process of the spine. But improperly executed backbends can lead to back pain and sacral issues. Are you practicing them safely?
